Hugo Chavez: “The capitalist and imperialism system destroyed life on Mars” (Watch video)

Hugo Chavez, Venezuela’s president, said today while celebrating the World Water Day that it “would not be surprising that on Mars life had ever existed and that the capitalist system and imperialism had finished with it”.

“It wouldn’t be strange that there has been civilization on Mars, but maybe capitalism and imperialism came and eventually destroyed this planet”. “Where there were for hundreds of years large forests, now only lie deserts”.

In addition, the Venezuelan president stressed that “South America is the continent with more reserve of water on the planet”.

And that “the Earth walks straight to the collapse if the development of this economic model based on consumption continues.
