March 10, 2011.- Charlie Sheen is gaining in recent weeks the attention of the media, surpassing in popularity the world icons pop Lady Gaga and President Barack Obama.

The former Two And A Half Men actor has triggered huge interest over recent weeks following a spate of public outbursts.

The Global Language Monitor analysed the top-20 persons – or things – on blogs and Internet-only news sites, including social-networking websites like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Sheen came top ahead of Apple’s recently unveiled iPad 2, while Lady Gaga was third and President Obama fourth. The study used an algorithm to monitor online activity between January 1 and March 8.

On the other hand, Charlie Sheen inspired an energy drink, the ‘Bi-Winning Tiger Blood’, since the actor, star of scandals, including his statements on television in which he claimed to have “blood tigre” and is a “bi-winner”, the brand is advertised paraphrasing “Tiger Blood allows you to use household items; you’re welcome to take more drugs than anyone can survive. Be different, have a different brain, and a different heart. When you feel Tiger Blood in your veins, you’ll realise ‘dying’s for fools’ and that can’t is the cancer of happen. Period. The end.”

While the world is still reeling from the former Two And A Half Men star’s stream of garbled ‘Sheenisms”, Harcos is selling pouches of the drink for $4 each through its website.

The drink was inspired by one of the 45-year-old actor’s particularly memorable comments: ‘I am different. I have a different constitution. I have a different brain, I have a different heart, I got tiger blood, man.’

And the tiger analogies didn’t stop there – after Sheen’s children were removed from his care, he also ranted: ‘My fangs are dripping with tiger blood.”
