Argentinos Jrs and Velez tied 1-1 and could not win in the Clausura yet

Argentinos Juniors and Velez drew 1-1 in La Paternal. The locals started losing and played with a player less due to the expulsion of Bogado, but Niell scored with a header after a good corner and sealed the outcome of the match.

Both teams could not win in the Clausura yet. The draw leaves both teams away from the top of the standings.

Velez’s goal was scored by David Ramirez at 7 minutes the first time, while the tie came at 22 minutes into the second half by Niell.

Next week both teams must play in the Copa Libertadores. Argentinos travels to Uruguay to face Nacional, while Velez plays at home against Universidad Católica de Chile.
