Boca won 1-0 against Racing without being better

Boca beat Racing 1-0, without being better than its rival. The team from La Boca had no great merit to win the match, a draw would have been fine, but still scored in the second half and Racing failed to turn the result playing at home.

In the first half, Racing was better during the first 25 minutes. Boca was cornered in its own half, trying to avoid Racing’s chances to score. Then the blue and gold team woke up and came out a little, pushing Avellaneda’s team, but was not enough to score a goal.

Already in the second half, Javi García sent a long ball and found Racing’s defense sleeping, which allowed Mouche take the ball and score the game’s only goal.

Racing and Boca have the same amount of points, with one victory and one lost.
