City of Buenos Aires, February 13, 2011
So said Daniel Iglesias, president of the Chamber of bins and others, in conversation with Radio 10. He said the school basket increased by 7% and recommended to go to several markets before buying.
Iglesias denied the popular fears of a sharp increase in school materials for children, which was said to be in about 30%.
“Today, with 80 pesos (20 dollars) you put a kid with materials and holster in school,” said the head of the chamber of school products.
“The basket of fifty top brand products increased seven percent over last year. They are products between low and first lines,” added Iglesias.
Daniel explained that there are 10 thousand products across the country to choose from when buying the tools of the children who start school at any level. He also recommended reviewing several markets before making a purchase.
Iglesias advised also to check on the wholesalers, as many parents do, because there lays the greatest variety of school products. However, he did not take confidence away from the retailers who, he said, can change products due to any inconvenience and are goodad visors for shopping.
