Google and Twitter announced new service for Egyptians

February 1, 2011.- Google announced that “the operation of a new service allows Egyptians to Twitter up without being connected to the Internet.”

The service works by marking an international phone number, which left a voice message that is then uploaded to the network. The tool was developed by a group of engineers from Google, Twitter and SayNow.

Google says that “We hope this will serve to help people in Egypt to stay connected in these difficult times.”
