Sanz and Alfonsin point to the electoral alliance with Binner
Argentina, January 30, 2011.- UCR Party presidential candidates Ernesto Sanz and Raul Alfonsin expressed their need to make an alliance with Santa Fe Governor Hermes Binner.
“People are afraid because there are no agreements and the opposition should remove uncertainty for citizen to vote in next elections,” Alfonsin said in Radio 10.
For his part, Sanz called to Santa Fe governor as a “central partner, able to govern one of the most important provinces.”
Alfonsin noted that “we must dispel the uncertainties of the opposition” and added that “to wait until August primary date announced by the Government, is to lead.”
Moreover, Sanz also returned to distance with the vice president Julio Cobos, who refused to participate in the primaries of the radicalism of April 30 and he clarified that only will be in the Aug. 14 primary.
“The election will be two-dimensional, because we are not going to fall into the trap of August 14, we do not know if the primaries will take place. Who did not participate in the internal will have many difficulties,” the Senator from Mendoza said.
