Guillermo Fariñas again arrested by police

January 28, 2011.- On Thursday Cuban dissident Guillermo Farinas was arrested again by police in Santa Clara along with twelve other people.

Farinas went with others to a police station to check on the status of three opponents who were arrested on the morning of Thursday.

Cuban dissident’s mother Alicia Hernandez said to Efe that “at the time of arrest there was mistreatment by police.”

Farina was arrested Wednesday and released soon after trying to defend a pregnant woman, who authorities evicted her from her home.
