Priest arrested for traveling to North Korea

January 21, 2011.- A South Korean priest was sentenced to five years in prison for traveling to North Korea and praised its authorities.
That determination was taken because according to “the South Korean laws it’s forbidden unauthorized contact with the communist country’s north.”
Priest Han Sang-ryol was arrested in August after returning from a two-month stay in the neighboring country, when the two countries were facing, after the South blamed the North have sunk one of its warships in March.
