Historical classification of Argentina to Handball World Cup’s second round

Argentina National Handball Team defeated Chile 35-25 in the last match of the World Cup Group D and got a historic qualification to the second round.

The match hadn’t started the best but Argentina turned quickly to find their level and ended the first half 15-13.

In the second half, the Argentines stretched the differences and reach tranquility. For the first time in its history they got the passport to the second phase and a place among the top 12.

Fernando Garcia, who replaced goalkeeper Matias Schultz, was the man of the match, making important saves at times when Chile played better.

On Saturday, Argentina plays for the second stage of a historical tournament for the national team.
