Cristina Fernandez in Qatar: “We are complementary economies”

President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner gave a press conference in Qatar where she said that “the three pillars of the XXI century are food, energy and knowledge.”

In Doha, Qatar’s capital, before leaving to Turkey, Cristina said: “We have the opportunity to make a historic leap in our living conditions.”

The President said that “the range of opportunities” between the UAE and Argentina “is very broad.” Both economies are highly complementary.”

“We have a vision about what is happening in the world, which require new players, new forms of relationship,” she said.

In addition, the president met with the head of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Sheikha Mozah, and Qatar businessmen regarding investment funds.
