Moyano put a 20% base for wage increases
Argentina, January 14, 2011.- CGT President Hugo Moyano said the wage increase should be 20% “to be in line with inflation at the supermarket.”
Thus, Moyano begins to press for wage increases of 2011. He said in this sense that next week he will talk again with the Union Industrial Argentina (UIA) to reach agreements.
“It is not so easy and simple, is a complex issue,” the leader said in an interview with radio station La Red.
The UIA had anticipated that it would not accept “floors or ceilings,” which clashes with Moyano’s words.
