Del Potro won in his return

January 10, 2011.- Argentine Juan Martin del Potro reached Sydney, Australia, in the best way after his right wrist injury that took him away from the circuit almost the whole 2010.

He beat Spanish Feliciano Lopez in a game that exceeded three hours by 6-7 (5), 7-6 (9) and 7-6 (3), for the first round of the ATP 250 which is the threshold for next Sunday in the Australia Open.

The Del Potro next opponent is the winner of the match that will hold the German Florian Mayer and Britain’s James Ward.
