Cristina Kirchner presented the Master Plan of the work in Río Salado

The president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, gave today at Government House a speech to present the master plan of the work in the Río Salado. In the same she highlighted other aspects such as economic and social situation of Argentina.

The president began stressing the importance of the new construction, comparing it with the one conducted in Yaciretá, and was happy to carry out such work.

She highlighted “it represents a great effort from the Argentines” but stressed “due to the efforts we have substantially improved the economy. Before was previously unthinkable to reach 100 million dollars while in 2010 the collection not only reached but exceeded them”.

“Argentines have recovered the management of resources for workers, lost in the past 25 years since the dictatorship” said Cristina Kirchner.

“The economy is like a gear; if you put those parts good then it continue to grow. In the past administration we have not only improved economic numbers, but we’ve had improved the quality of life for those who had nothing, making unemployment fall and increasing employment, thus production. This is a feedback circuit, which means that it could be maintained over time” she said.

She also said that economic growth in 2010 was the biggest in the history of Argentina, and dedicated a word to the newspapers that criticize her. “Some believe that reality can be covered with the cover of a newspaper” she said.

“We want to see the Argentina that overflows beaches, overflows consumption, showing a clear improvement in the social aspect. The contract we signed is a work for all Argentines and of all Argentines, which makes us very happy”.

Finally she concluded that “the best way to honor him is to further what he began” referring to Nestor Kirchner.
