Brazilian artist launched a doll based on Dilma Rousseff
Brazil, January 7, 2011
Marcus Baby, Brazilian artist, created a doll based on the president Dilma Rousseff, who continues the policies initiated by former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The creation of the doll began on Oct. 31, when Rousseff defeated in second round the candidate for the socialisms former governor Jose Serra.
The work took two months to be completed and the piece came from a doll “Barbie”, Mattel manufacturer. The doll’s face is covered with makeup and has short hair, as well as the president.
It wears a red dress with a blazer, manufactured by the artist’s mother. The same was used by Rousseff when she was Minister of the Presidency. The doll also has a necklace and earrings designed by Baby.
Will Argentina launch a doll based on Cristina Kirchner? I have doubts about it…
