The Indian American Park will be weeded, fenced and cleaned up after the withdrawal of the occupation
City of Buenos Aires, December 15, 2010
About 60 cleaning trucks, hundreds of workers and nearly 200 officers from the Metropolitan Police are in the American Indian Park to carry out various tasks after the occupants left it.
The Minister of Environment and Public Space, Diego Santilli, confirmed that the site will be closed for disinfecting and improve it, according to “the proposals of the neighbors in the participatory budget.”
The minister did not discuss the works of housing and urban development to take place soon, as agreed on yesterday.
