The government will send Gendarmeria to fence the Indoamericano Park
Buenos Aires, 11, 2010 dieciembre
Cabinet Chief’s Office, Anibal Fernandez, gave a press conference announcing that the National Gendarmerie will besiege the American Indian Park in Villa Soldati and thereby restricting the entry of people.
As had transpired, the Government will give the parties the delivery of public lands for housing.
Still, Fernandez said they will not “give away anything.” “We anticipate they will be allowed access to financing. But they will have to pay for the land.”
The chief of staff criticized Macri to retire before the meeting ended:
“We haven’t found a vocation to eradicate the shantytowns in the City”, he said, and added that as soon Mauricio Macri left the meeting, the suspension was ordered because “when there is no decision maker, the solutions are exhausted.”
Meanwhile, Fernandez spoke of the three confirmed deaths (remember that there are doubts about the fourth announced last night): “Those who died were not those who came from outside, they were people inside. On these three deaths, no hypothesis is rejected or neglected in research. “
