The Central Bank introduced the new bill of 100 pesos

December 6, 2010

Today, the Central Bank of Argentina introduced a new series of 100-peso bill. This is the batch of numbers ending in S, which has slight differences.

The numbering in this new series features a unique difference with its predecesors: The numbering on the front is arranged horizontally and its security ink black.

Apart from this, there are no differences with respect to other batches.

The production of banknotes was in charge of the Mint of the Republic of Argentina and the Casa da Moeda do Brasil, to ensure that the demand for cash is fulfilled.
