Alfonsin ruled out an alliance with Carrió

Argentina, November 25, 2010.- Radical candidate Ricardo Alfonsin considered too difficult a partnership with the Civic Coalition leader Elisa Carrio.

“I’m not a person that needs to look for an exaggeration to point out my differences with the government,” Alfonsin said in a clear criticism directed at Carrió.

“After the things she has said, it is very difficult to approach with Carrió”, he added.

However, he clarified that the UCR is working with other parties such as socialism and GEN.

“As for the internal elections in radicalism, I will do what the National Committee decides what is best for the party. Radicalism democratically resolves its internal differences. I have very good relationship with members of the cobismo,” Alfonsin said.

On the other hand, he believes that the budget is not approved by the ruling’s actions: “We ran out of budget because things were made for us to stay without budget.”
