Argentinos won as local 1-0 against San Lorenzo

Argentinos Juniors won 1-0 against San Lorenzo in Paternal. The only goal was scored by Blandi in the first half. Ramon Diaz’s team couldn’t raise its head despite having played well in the second half.

They shared a half and a half. The first one was completely dominated by Argentinos, while in the second the local team retreated defensively to guard the goal and San Lorenzo went to win the match.

At 3 minutes, Argentinos warned and almost reached the first goal. At 14 minutes Niell made a good move that Escudero could not connect.

The only goal came after a corner kick done by Prósperi that Blandi connected after a rebound and put Argentinos above.

In the second time San Lorenzo began to play better and progressed through the sides but lacked precision in the last meters.

The match ended with a good result for the local and the visitors had to rethink many things. Argentinos thus reaches 19 points, equaling his opponent today, San Lorenzo.
