Messi appears whenever Barça needs him: Two goals to Villarreal

Barcelona, 13 November 2010

Argentine Lionel Messi scored twice in the second half for Barcelona victory 3-1 over Villarreal at Camp Nou stadium.

Villa opened the scoring at minute 22 with a great definition and Barcelona deserved to score the second, but Brazilian Nilmar found badly the defense and drew the actions.

The 1 to 1 seemed unfair, indeed it was. The possession of the ball was extremely in favor to Barcelona.

But Guardiola’s team has always the ace waiting to appear. Lionel Messi made it at 13 of the second half, chopping the ball over goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

In his second, Messi scored in offside, but was divine justice, because he was wrongly whistled in the first half.

Anyway, the Argentine talent seems endless and Barcelona draws his magic. Today was a great test of this, despite dominating, Messi had to appear to open the game and the win.
