Macri wants to ban ‘trapitos’ after scandal of parking lot in Paul McCartney’s concert

Buenos Aires, November 11, 2010

Buenos Aires City mayor, Mauricio Macri, is pressing on lawmakers to debate the bill prohibiting ‘trapitos’ (people to whom drivers are forced to pay for take care of their cars parked on the street, where parking is free).

In yesterday, Macri received multiple complaints about they had to pay even 150 pesos to park near River Plate stadium for Paul McCartney’s concert.

For that reason, the legislature of the PRO Enzo Pagani announced that the Metropolitan Police will carry out a special operation during former Beatle’s today concert.

Pagani was also consulted by Macri to insist on the discussion of law in the Legislature to prohibit the activity of ‘trapitos’.
