J.K. Rowling ‘could write’ more tales about Harry Potter

October 2, 2010: In an interview broadcasted today on the television show of Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, author of the successful Harry Potter series, said, “I could write more books about the character.”

Rowling, 45, in a chat with Winfrey said “I could write an eighth, ninth, tenth novel … I’m not saying I will not… I feel I’ve done with that, but you never know. “

She also recognized that “when she finished with the latest Harry Potter book, it was like feeling of losing something, as if someone has gone.”

But Rowling said that “although she is proud of her novels, now begins a new phase and does not feel pressure by the fact that her next book will cause great expectations and has to reach the level that she achieved with Harry Potter.”
