The details of Cristina Kirchner’s visit to the United States
United States, September 26, 2010: In the U.S. the President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will visit the New York Stock Exchange, then she will meet with the General Secretary of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon and with entrepreneurs of the “Council of the Americas” on the penultimate day of activities in the American country.
At 11 am the president will go to the New York Stock Exchange in Wall Street. At 4 pm she will hold a meeting with business executives at the Four Seasons Hotel together with Nestor Kirchner who traveled due to the role that he has as General Secretary of UNASUR.
Finally at 6 pm, the head of state will meet with the head of the UN, Ban Ki-Moon at United Nations headquarters.
The president, who traveled last Thursday, had participated in a lunch at the United Nations building, where she shared the head table with Barack Obama.
Cristina had stressed in her speech in front of the UN on Friday the involvement of a third-country in the AMIA case, to find justice. She also renewed and emphasized again the Argentine claim for sovereignty over the Falklands.
Her last day in the United States will be Tuesday after attending the G-77, where Argentina will chair the bloc of developing countries.
