Messi’s “murderer” apologizes for injury

The Czech defender who injured Lio Messi at the end of the match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, apologized at a press conference. “It was not my intention to hurt him,” said Tomas Ujfalusi.

“It was bad luck and I´m sorry. I hope he recovers soon,” said the Czech.

Ujfalusi told he sent a message “through Kun Aguero’s mobile today, apologizing. I’m fine because I know that Leo hasn’t broken anything, is going to be out two or three weeks”.

“It just happened, I’m sorry and I cannot change it. We must protect all players, not only the best,” said the Atletico Madrid defender.
