The historic of Boca Juniors’ striker, Martin Palermo, said that the team lacks “confidence” to hold in the Torneo Apertura 2010. He also sent a compliment to River, he said “they fight, they try to play and have confidence, which is key.”

Talking to radio La Red, Palermo said “it was important to win (yesterday’s game against Olimpo), that of yesterday is not what we went for with Velez, and what happened yesterday is best, we must find the balance and regularity.”

“We have to win two or three straight games to continue to grow and then see if we are to fight the championship,” said the striker who added “we have to earn that confidence, for the game, the presence. We can not have Racing and San Lorenzo coming and beating us so easily and deservedly, this can not happen.”

Boca striker said “if you get used to winning, like what happened to River in the early matches, it gives you great confidence. They fight, they try to play and have confidence, which is key. “

Boca stands 12th in the positions of the Torneo Apertura 2010, 5 points behind the leaders, River, Arsenal and Velez.
