A crackdown on illegal sales of soy was conducted

The Federal Court of Villa Maria, Córdoba, authorized a crackdown on illegal sale of soybean which ended with the processing of 25 people and four arrests.

An investigation of the AFIP revealed an organization dedicated to creating “ghost” companies to “whiten agricultural operations”.

Apparently, those accused of forming a conspiracy would have earned 600 million pesos by soy irregular transactions.

In total, the so-called “nameborrowers” and nominees had sold 800 000 tons of soybeans evading taxes by using false invoices pretending expenditure on inputs.
