Buenos Aires teachers announced a strike for next Tuesday

Teacher unions confirmed a work stoppage for next Tuesday in the schools of Buenos Aires City to demand better wages and labor conditions.
Teachers called for a mobilization the same Tuesday at 2:30 pm outside the government headquarters on Avenida de Mayo and Bolivar.
The strike comes after the failure to reopen the salary discussion with Mauricio Macri government, who argued that the teachers had already signed the annual wage agreement in March.
Some of the requests of teachers were the advance of the schedule of payments and wage, stability for temporary teachers of middle and tertiary level, and payment of wages in a timely manner.
