Protest in Ramos Mejía: Residents demand for security and justice

Ramos Mejia neighbors made a march claiming for security and justice after the wave of crimes that plagues the area.
The protesters, located in the center of the city, recall the assassination of Emiliano Martino, who died in a shootout between criminals and police, while being held hostage.
The straw that broke the camel, however, was the abduction and assault of businessman Anibal Martino last night. The criminals took him to his home, and left with money, jewelry, and appliances.
The neighbors went to the police station looking for answers from the authorities. There were insults and catcalls. “Liberated zone” was the main song to make their voices heard.
Furious, they demanded face to face with the police, screaming for solutions at the terse official response, which in no way was able to appease the waters.
