Hillary with Timerman, happy for the peace between Colombia and Venezuela
Argentine Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held a joint press conference in the building of the State Department, where Clinton highlighted the “positive role” that took Argentina to the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Colombia and Venezuela.
“The meeting between the Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos and Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez, with the presence of Secretary General of UNASUR, Nestor Kirchner, is the product of a very important job UNASUR countries have developed, “said Timerman.

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile thanked the “significant contribution” of Argentina “in efforts to maintain peace throughout the world,” and remarked our country as a “vital partner in the reconstruction of Haiti.”
