Fidel Castro: “I’m totally recovered”

During a meeting with Cuban young students, the political leader Fidel Castro said he is now completely healed.

Among his statements Fidel Castro noted the possibility of the existence or emergence of an armed conflict between the two Koreas, both South and North or a civil war in Iran.

“I’ve been fighting many battles to be in the condition that I am today” said Fidel Castro in the conversation.

Castro, standing and from a lectern, also delivered a message aimed to young Cubans, who said that they “need to fulfill a sacred duty imposed upon them by the time they are living.”

Fidel Castro’s 84th birthday is on 13 August and the public is surprised for the amount of public reappearances that he has made in the last two weeks after his long and difficult recovery.

Castro also used his public appearances in the Cuban media to publicize his book “strategic victory” in which he narrates how he won the battle with his rebel army in Sierra Maestra in 1958 and where he has included a short autobiography of his childhood and youth.
