Borghi: “If we start the tournament the captain is Palermo”
The new coach of Boca Juniors team spoke to has to start the season against Godoy Cruz. He highlighted what does players like Palermo, who said as a possible captain, mean to the fans and of course he spoke of Riquelme.
Speaking on radio, Claudio Borghi told of the great relationship with the fans that Juan Román Riquelme has, “it’s amazing how people love him” emphasized the coach when talking to Fox Sports Radio Del Plata.
As for the signings, el “Bichi” said he is waiting just ahead of Clemente Rodríguez and if not get used to some youth. “There are possibilities that raise a player from the inferiors if Clemente does not come. That would be the last signing because I do not want to stash good players” said Borghi.
He confirmed that in front of Godoy Cruz he will put on the field the same players that in training: Luchetti in the goal; Caruzzo, Cellay and Insaurralde to defense Medel, Mendez, Battaglia, Monsoon and Cañete at midfield, Palermo and Viatri as strikers.
