Tabarez makes five changes against Holland

The head coach of Uruguay will present a team with five changes from the one that played against Ghana. Lugano will not play due to an injury and Suarez, suspended, is also out. The three new players would be strategic changes to face Holland in the first semifinal of the World Cup.

In practice today, Oscar Washington Tabarez put Martin Caceres for Walter Gargano, at the left, and Diego Godin for Lodeiro who could not play because, as what was observed today, he has cast on his right leg and did not practice. Alvaro Pereira would go to the midfield.

It appears that the Uruguayan team would stand as follows on the court:

Goalkeeper: Fernando Muslera

Defenders: Maximiliano Pereira, Mauricio Victorino, Diego Godin and Martin Caceres

Midfielders: Diego Perez, Egidio Arevalo Rios, Walter Gargano and Alvaro Pereira

Forwards: Diego Forlan and Edinson Cavani

The winner of the match will return to Johannesburg to play the World Cup final next Sunday against Spain or Germany.
