A strong earthquake struck early this morning Argentine provinces

At dawn today, close to 1:32 a.m., a strong earthquake that reached 5.2 on the Richter scale shook several provinces in Argentina.

The first data provided indicated that the quake struck the provinces of Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Catamarca and La Rioja.

The epicenter was located north of Juan Bautista Alberdi department in the province of Tucuman, at a depth of 33 meters, near the border with the province of Catamarca.
