Russia will not sell more arms to Iran

The Russian government decided to freeze the contract for delivery of arms to Iran, according to the UN resolution establishing an embargo on the Middle Eastern country for its nuclear policy.The decision was hailed by the United States.

A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said “The delivery systems of S-300 which had asked Iran to Russia was suspended under the new resolution (UN established the embargo).”

Also, in Brussels, the ministers of Defence of the countries of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) met. The defense secretary of the United States fears that Iran could have nuclear weapons in two or three years, “What worries everyone is that Iran is approaching the threshold of nuclear weapons.”
