“Given the different versions that have been circulating about the health of Gustavo, we intend to bring the official and updated version of his situation.

Due to a sharp rise in blood pressure, Gustavo has suffered a transient cerebral ischemia.

He is hospitalized and stable, at Trinity Medical Center in the city of Caracas and he will stay there for the following days under observation, and will be subjected to different tests.

This is, in short, the only information available at teh moment.
