Influenza vaccine shortages in Buenos Aires pharmacies
The trivalent vaccine in short supply and national chain pharmacies as the neighborhood confirmed this data, while they reporting that there is no specific date for the renewal of stock.

The Pharmaceutical Association of La Plata confirmed this information and gives two reasons why this phenomenon occurs: the problems of international production and irregularities in the distribution in the country.

Since the trivalent vaccine is only available in pharmacies, specialists recommend that persons belonging to risk groups be vaccinated with the monovalent one, that only protects the patient against influenza A and is available for free in the public hospitals.
