Argentinos failed to get the top, but celebrated wiht the final draw

In the match that could mean the top of the Tournament and where they started winning, Argentinos Juniors ended celebrating an agonizing tie with a goal by Facundo Coria in the last minute.

Claudio Borghi’s team had begun up in the score with a goal by Jose Luis Calderon, at 9th minute.

But in the 35th minute Luciano Leguizamon scored the equalizer after receiving a pass from his goalkeeper who left him one on one against goalkeeper Peric. The striker dribbled him and scored.

In the second minute of the second half the same Leguizamón turned the match on Arsenal’s favour with a penalty.

However, a glorious header by Facundo Coria gave Argentinos the tie and hope in Clausura Tournament. The defeat would have been hard in the locker room. With equal with taste to victory, expectations are different.

Now, Argentinos stays in the second place, one point behind leaders Independiente and Estudiantes.
