Judge Thomas Griesa released the Central Bank’s reserves that were seized in the USA
Finance Secretary Hernan Lorenzino said that the judge Thomas Griesa cancelled the embargo on the accounts that the Central Bank has in the U.S. Federal Reserve.
“What was done was to cancel the action (the embargo) so an agreement can be achieved” said Lorenzino, who also announced that the reopening of the debt “won’t be interfered.”
Judge Griesa, due to a spontaneous verdict made by the lawyers of the Central Bank has decided to give the parts involved time to reach an agreement” said the official explaining:
“The judge cancelled the measure for a few days until an agreement is reached about how to implement it, as happened in 2005 with another seizure to the Central Bank accounts.
