Duhalde thinks including Cobos in his presidential ballot is a “nonsense”
Former President Eduardo Duhalde said that sharing the ballot with Vice President Julio Cobos, for the next presidential election is “nonsense.”
“Cobos probably be the UCR candidate,” said the former president in conversation with journalist Gonzalez Oro and recalled that every attempt to form a bipartisan ballot with the PJ and the UCR “always failed.”
But said he intends to run for the 2011 elections although no precise formula is known, because it is unclear who is the best placed politician in the PJ.
“The party must project the presidential candidacy of those leaders who are better placed among the people. We will see who is better placed…”
Criticisms of Kirchner.
“No way I’m going to run from utside the PJ. I’ll organize the PJ in the province [of Buenos Aires] which, in my opinion, has suffered an invasion. We must expel from the province who, without being from Buenos Aires was a candidate,” warned in a clear attack on Nestor Kirchner.
Finally Duhalde has a lot of faith on his party for the next presidential election: “We will win this election for sure.”
