Another policeman was shot in the head and died in Merlo

In Merlo, Buenos Aires Province, Officer Paul Pocaressi, 42, died of a gunshot wound to the head this morning after being attacked by criminals during a robbery.

Police spokesman reported that “the incident occurred in a house in the intersection of San Antonio and Rivadavia, in Merlo, West of Great Buenos Aires.”

The police tried to stop one of the criminals, who was holding two women, after the house owner reported that some criminals were assaulting his wife and daughter.

At that moment one of the criminals shot him in the head, inflicting a mortal wound.

Buenos Aires Police spokesmen said that “The criminals remained missing.”
