Some of  Hollywood’s greatest stars in new films: Jim Carrey in, “A Christmas Carol”, George Clooney in, “The Men Who Stare at Goats” and Cameron Diaz in, “The Box”.

“The Box (PG-13) stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden as a suburban couple who receive an anonymous gift: a wooden box that promises to deliver its owner $1 million with the push of a button. However, pressing the button will also simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world.

“Disney’s A Christmas Carol” (PG) uses new-fangled “performance capture” animation to re-tell the Charles Dickens’ classic about a miserly old man who is taught the true spirit of Christmas through visits from ghosts of the past, present and future. Voices provided by Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey and Michael J. Fox.

“The Men Who Stare at Goats,” (R) is the story of an experimental U.S. military unit comprised of “Warrior Monks” who have unparalleled psychic powers and can read the enemy’s thoughts. Stars George Clooney, Ewan McGregor and Jeff Bridges.
