San Isidro: A hairdresser was beaten to death at his home in La Horqueta

A barber of 50 years was beaten to death inside his home overnight in the neighborhood of La Horqueta, San Isidro.

The body was found in the bathroom by a person close to the home owner who called 911 a shortly before one in the morning.

The man was identified as Manuel Ibanez and he was a barber. The incident occurred on the street Camino Real and Junin.

According to police sources they have not yet ruled out any motive, but it would be a passional crime associated with the relationship the victim held with a woman under 30.

What caught the attention of the researchers was that the doors and windows of the apartment were not broken and though the house had been ransacked,nothing was ”missing.”

Therefore it is believed that Ibanez either knew his killer or he was intercepted as he entered the house.

The prosecutors of Boulogne have ordered the autopsy to find out the cause of the death.
