Sponge Bob turns 10

One of the most emblematic tv characters for kids,  Sponge Bob Square Pants, celebrates his 10 birthday.

The activity is one of many that Nickelodeon Argentina have prepared to celebrate the first decade of SpongeBob, created by Stephen Hillenburg, and including new episodes, special programs, contests, a new image on the Internet, a new graphics package and many activities on and off the screen.

Beginning in 1999, the show was a hit straight out of the box. Audiences were already au fait with “cross generational” animation shows such as The Simpsons and Ren and Stimpy, where there were rib-ticklers for both kids and parents.
