Belsunce case: Carrascosa condemned to life

Buenos Aires Penal Chamber of Cassation made the decision before the appeal of the district attorney Molina Pico. The judges think that he murdered his wife, in October, 2001, with the help of at least two people.
Carlos Carrascosa was condemned to life prison for the murder of his wife, Maria Marta García Belsunce.
Sources of the Court informed that also the Room I integrated by the judges Benjamín Sal Llargues, Carlos Natielo and Horacio Piombo, Carmel de Pilar ordered to investigate the participation of other coauthors in the crime happened on October 27, 2002 in the private neighborhood El Carmel.
The Chamber did place to an order of the district attorney’s office. On July 11, 2007, Carrascosa was absolved of the murder, but it was condemned to five years and a half of prison for having being found guilty of concealment.
For the change of qualification, Carrascosa was condemned today to life imprisonment for murder aggravated by the tie. Between the aspects that were considered for this decision, there is the certainty of which it was in his house the day of the murder.
García Belsunce was found dead with five shots on October 27, 2002 in his house of the country music Carmel, in Prop. The body was found by the proper Carrascosa semiimmersed in the bathtub of the house.
