INDEC: The unemployment rates lowered 1.2% in Argentina
In accordance with the records of the INDEC, in Gran Buenos Aires, the unemployment lowered 1.2%, comparing it with the same period of 2008 that it was 9,9 % and in 2009 is 8.4%, as the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses inform.
The Institute also presented as a national level, 8.4%, the same as in the period from January to March, 2008.
As for the economy, in relation with last year, it grew 2.3%.
In Capital Federal, according to the INDEC report, the unemployment increased in 1.2%, remaining with 7.8%.
As for the remain provinces with minor unemployment valuations, it declared the following quantities: Formosa 2%, Río Gallegos and San Luis 2.7%.
The North-East area had a fall with regard to 2008, that was 5.5% and in 2009 is 4.9%.
The Pampeana region, comparing it with the last year, increased 0.8%, staying with 9,3 % in 2009.
The part of Cuyo, had 4.9% in the year 2008, it rose this year on 5.8%.
The Patagonian area, had an increase with regard of last year, 6.1% and this year 7.2%, the increase comes for the rise that had the province of Neuquén.
