Cromagnon tragedy: Fontanet denied that his rock band organized the concert

The leader of rock band “Callejeros” Patricio “Pato” Santos Fontanet denied today to have exalted the use of fireworks or that his relatives had flares the night of the tragedy in “República Cromañón” disco.

“This is a big lie”, declared Fontanet during his brief speech, in which he denied that the band was part of the concert organization on December 30, 2004.

Another two members of the band “Callejeros”, who declared this midday, denied the charges against them and also attacked the way in which they were indicted in the case for the tragedy of Cromañón, in which 194 people died.

On having begun to declare for the first time in the judgment, the musicians said that they had never imagined the “damage” that they could cause in Cromañón.

Juan Carbone, the band’s saxophonist said that “it is a morbid, criminal, psychotic thought…” to say that they acted with fraud.
