Libertadores Cup: Boca lost its match but remains group leader
Boca Juniors (Argentina), lost 1-0 to Deportivo Cuenca, in Ecuador, in a match corresponding to the Group 2 of the Libertadores Cup.
The only goal of the match was scored by Edison Preciado, at 32 minutes of the second half, on having captured a ball after a counterattack very well schemed by the local team.
Despite this result, Boca keeps on being the lone leader of the Group 2, with 12 points, followed by Cuenca and Sports Táchira, both with 9 units; last remained Guarani, of Paraguay, which lost in all its presentations.
Next Thursday Boca will play local against Deportivo Táchira and Guarani will face Deportivo Cuenca. The Argentineans with just a tie will clinch the first position of the group and will advance this way to the round of 16 of the Cup.
