Oscar Parrilli: Néstor Kirchner “is a good candidate”

Secretary general of the President, Oscar Parrilli, stated today that a possible candidacy of ex-president Néstor Kirchner as national deputy “will be solved before the lists are presented” and admitted that “he is a good candidate” but “the president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will have to think” on this matter.

Parrilli said that “the surveys are maneuvers of some of the media for reporting something that is not like that or as it is mentioned by some journalist who believes that it is like that” and noticed that “our surveys say Néstor Kirchner wins, but also we see it in the public acts to which the President goes”

In this sense he indicated that next June 28, date of the national legislative elections, “we are going retain a majority support”. “There is not going to be an electoral defeat – continued Parrilli – and we are not going to leave house” and supported that “we are going to keep on having the majority in both lower and upper house and we will have alliances with other political sectors”

Parrilli remembered that “we have achieved agreements and consensus with other political forces” and exemplified that it “was seen in the nationalization of Argentine Airlines and in the recovery of the funds of the AFJP (Retirement funds)”, but “it is not possible to do agreements with all…”
