In the resolution signed today by Federal Judge Claudio Bonadio it was understood that at the time of the accident, De Vido had actual knowledge of the poor state of the trains.

The judge said that it is proven that, despite the repeated warnings by the National Commission for Transport Regulation and the General Audit Office, De Vido did not fulfilled his obligations by adopting any measure intended to improve the provision of a service.

In fact, Bonadio added that the former minister had full knowledge of the deplorable state of the rolling stock.
